Laboratory image resolution is currently aprox. 70 dots per inch (dpi) and will not magnify to any great degree.

Datacon Core Imaging Inc captures at three main resolution levels:

Low (150) dpi, medium (600dpi) and high (1000dpi). A custom level is available for specialist images which can go as high as 1200dpi.

Our low resolution image capture is primarly for large capacity contracts where time is the essence; these images will display at x2 life size.

Medium resolution image capture will display ar x8 life size with a depth of view that keeps the image sharp no matter how broken up the surface is.

High resolution images are for core that require the highest quality capture that will retain colour and sharpness at magnification greater than x16.
