RocksViewer is a simple method of comparing individual well images with their well and core log data. RocksViewer works in conjunction with Datacon's online facility so access to images are maintained 24/7. Each image is displayed vertically in its own window, allowing multiple images to be displayed, with data, side by side.
The depth of formation layers and other geological features can be recorded with the use of correlation tools.
Correlations can be saved to a file and either exported to other applications or used to
instantaneously
display the correlated images to the specific depth and magnification at a click of mouse button. In addition, any point on a well image can be used to display other related data such as original lab images, thin sections and plug data. |
